COVID-19: Medical aids Israel including ventilators

Israel donated various medical equipment to Nepal to help the country deal with the ongoing Covid-19 crisis.

A chartered flight of the Nepal Airlines aircraft carrying the equipment from Tel Aviv landed in Nepal on Thursday.

The supplies include eight ventilators, 120 oxygen concentrators along with other medical equipment, informs Nepal’s Ambassador to Israel Anjan Shakya.

Israeli Minister of Foreign Affairs Yair Lapid, issuing a statement before the departure of the medical cargo from Israel, said that Israel is proud to assist Nepal in its struggle against the coronavirus and will be open to further helps in future, the Israeli embassy in Kathmandu informs in a statement.

Israeli Ambassador Nepal Hanan Goder, along with his deputy Tal Shvartsman, handed over the medical supplies on Thursday to the representatives of the Ministry of Health and Covid-19 Crisis Management Centre (CCMC) at the Kathmandu airport.

The embassy earlier had handed medical equipment related to Covid-19 to Dhulikhel, Bir hospital, Patan hospital and Nepal Police also.
