Gautam Buddha airport, located at Bhairahawa, is at its final stage of its completion and the test flight has been stalled due to ongoing pandemic. Praveen Neupane, a senior official of the project, says ” We are looking for conducting the test flights by September.”
The proper functioning of various components of the flight is not known without such tests. This is considered to be the final stage of construction work.
This project has been listed as a national pride project and it was expected to be completed by 2021.
