Kathmandu, June 26
As the government decided to reopen domestic flights suspended since May, airline companies have now opened booking.
The Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation has decided that the flights will reopen from the first of July. The aircraft have been allowed to carry only half of their total passenger capacity to maintain distance so as to avoid the risk of Covid-19.
Two major domestic flight service providers–Buddha Air and Yeti Airlines–say passengers can now make a booking for the scheduled flights online (via their websites, mobile wallet services or mobile applications) or via their agents.
The companies say they will put in necessary regulations to ensure safety of the passengers.
