Hundreds of dead sea animals have washed up in Sri Lanka, after a cargo ship carrying dangerous chemicals caught fire and sank a week ago.

The remains of 20 dolphins, 176 turtles  and 4 whales have washed ashore since, a court has heard.

The ship carried tonnes of oil in its tanks that risks for environmental hazard for decades, according to the experts.
